Revenue Questions

How to Make Money with Domain Apps

How much money can I make per domain?
Just like any business or website, the amount of money you can expect to make depends on how much time you put into promoting it. It also depends on many other factors such as the quality of your traffic, the theme of your domain, the country of your visitor, and the keywords used in the search. If you're stuck, we would be happy to offer you advice on getting more traffic to your site.

How can I make money from my sites at Domain Apps?
At Domain Apps, you can choose to monetize your domain through parking or develop it until a full website. No matter which monetization method you choose, your domains can be customized as much or as little as you'd like.

Plus, you can add as many Apps as you wish to add very focused, rich content to your sites. Domain Apps handles all of the heavy lifting required to integrate with monetization and content partners. Apps are an easy way to attract visitors to your sites in your Domain Apps account, as long as those sites use the integrated Domain Apps pay-per-click feeds.

Can I sell my domains while hosted on Domain Apps?
Sure! You can set your domains to be "for sale" which shows a customizable link to a contact form or to the page of your choice. Since we're not brokers, we can't sell the domain for you. However, we're connected to a network of brokers so just ask us for some recommendations and we'll point you in the right direction.

When do I make money?
Domain Apps' top-tier feed provides great revenue to your domains on a pay-per-click (PPC) basis. As a general rule, you'll get more clicks and earn consistent revenue with PPC.

Cost-per-action (CPA) requires the visitor to fill out a form, download something, buy a product or service, etc. Though payouts will happen less often, they are typically much higher than PPC.

There are also more options for revenue through the Apps.

What are your payment terms?
You are paid on the 7th and 22nd of each month, providing the outstanding balance is greater than your payment threshold preference (minimum $20). Revenue earned from the 16th through the end of the previous month will be paid on the 7th. Revenue earned on the 1st through the 15th of the month will be paid on the 22nd of the same month.

How do I get paid?
Payments can be received through PayPal ($20 minimum), international wire transfer ($1,000 minimum), direct deposit ($20 minimum) or check ($100 minimum).
